About the Author

Risa Simon is best known as a positive-disruptor for patient-centered initiatives. As a patient advocate and industry consultant, Risa’s on a mission to empower kidney patients to proactively secure their best life possible.

As the founder and CEO of TransplantFirst Academy and Simon Says Seminars, inc. (dba TransplantStrong), Risa’s on a mission to improve patient outcomes by opening doors to preemptive transplantation. Her enthusiastic spirit can be felt by mentees, coaching clients and book fans worldwide.

Risa is also a preemptive kidney transplant recipient and healthcare consultant.
