Our Mission

TransplantFirst Academy’s mission is to empower chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients to proactively plan their best future. We inspire patients to achieve this goal by encouraging them to explore transplant options long before they are asked to consider dialysis. TFA believes that patients have the right to know all their options, voice their choice and proactively secure their best outcome.

Our Purpose

TransplantFirst Academy exists to encouraged individuals who could benefit from a transplant to bypass dialysis and seek a better quality of life by securing a preemptive kidney transplant from a living donor.

Who We Serve 

TransplantFirst Academy target audience includes kidney patients and kidney patient advocates, nephrologists and renal groups, social workers, nurses, medical assistants, transplant centers, enlightened dialysis organizations, End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) networks and divisions of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that provide or oversee kidney patient education.
